Correcting images

The new system has an automated procedure that exports photos for correction and uploads the new version while keeping the history of the existing file.

The contractor correcting photos will need access to the MTG Photo Dropbox account.

1. Upload images per usual.
2. In Content Station or Smart Connection, set the image status to "Send to Corrections". Within five minutes, the system will put the image files into the CheckedOut folder in that Dropbox. Content Station will mark those files as checked out and set their status to "Out for Corrections". No one will be able to edit the files until they are checked back in. (If you changed thee status in error, abort the checkout.)
3. Contractor goes into Dropbox and downloads files from that folder and then deleting them.
4. Contractor places files into the CheckIn folder in Dropbox. Within five minutes, SmartMover takes the files and, using the objectID appended to the file name and re-uploads the images as new versions of the existing files. SmartMover empties the CheckIn folder in Dropbox.
