To display articles and layouts properly within Content Station and Smart Connection, fonts must be installed and activated.
FontExplorer X Pro simplifies both of these tasks.

Activating fonts
The FontExplorer system already has more than 2,000 fonts available. Activating a particular font for use on your computer involves checking a box within FontExplorer X. The video below details the process. <htmlet>activatingfonts</htmlet>

Installing individual fonts
If the Art department uses a new font in a layout, you'll need to install that font before activating it. New fonts are located in Elvis. Once you download and unzip the font files, you can either drag them into FontExplorer X or use FontExplorer's import process. - Drag the folder of fonts onto the font list in FontExplorer.
- In the sidebar, click "Last Imported" and select all fonts in that group. Click the activate button.
