Installing individual fonts
If the Art department uses a new font in a layout, you'll need to install that font before activating it. New fonts are located in Elvis. Once you download and unzip the font files, you can either drag them into FontExplorer X or use FontExplorer's import process. The video below details both options and goes into more detail about where to find the fonts on Elvis. File:Importfonts.mp4
Importing a batch of fonts
If you have a bunch of new fonts to install, you can do it in two steps.
- Drag the folder of fonts onto the font list in FontExplorer.
- In the sidebar, click "Last Imported" and select all fonts in that group. Click the activate button.
The following video tutorial assumes that someone has compiled all those fonts into a zipped folder, but the process remains the same even if that's not the case. File:Batchfontimport.mp4
